The Geneva Motor Show has established itself as one of the most respected and important car events in the motoring calendar.
Many production cars, cutting-edge concepts and innovative motoring technologies have been unveiled to the public for the first time at the Geneva Palexpo, which once again played host to the event in 2017. Peugeot’s history at the Geneva car show dates back many years. In recent times we’ve premiered production cars, such as the 2008 SUV and the new Traveller, as well as many Peugeot concept cars, showcasing our latest innovations, like the stunning FRACTAL.
The 2017 Geneva Motor Show proved to be another landmark occasion for Peugeot, as we showcased our latest production models including the award-winning 3008 SUV and the all-new 5008, as well as the world premiere of the new Partner Tepee Electric.
Also on display was our latest stunning concept car, the INSTINCT concept, which offered a glimpse into the future of fully autonomous driving.
The 2017 Geneva Motor Show took place from 9th-19th March.
Take a look below at what was on show at the Peugeot stand at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
We showcased the whole Peugeot range at the 2016 show, including the latest additions to the Peugeot production range.
Peugeot 2008 SUV
Our main attraction at this prestigious motor show was the reveal of the then-new Peugeot 2008 SUV.
The 2008 SUV delivers an instinctive driving experience and uncompromising quality all wrapped up in a sharp design that will get you noticed both on and off the road.
Its high-tech black and chrome headlines and 3D LED real lights with 3-claw design give the car a strong visual signature that makes it unmistakable. Added to this are its new vertical front grille, horizontal bonnet and rear sports spoiler, giving this SUV a strong on-road presence.
The interior benefits from our innovative PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® – a concept which was first adopted by the 308 - which includes a sports steering wheel that offers optimum driving control, while the 7” multifunction colour touchscreen puts you in contact and in control, wherever you are.
Further innovative technologies on the 2008 SUV include Park Assist, Active City Brake and CarPlay®.
New Peugeot Traveller
The Peugeot Traveller MPV was a world exclusive when it was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show 2016. This van-based multi-purpose vehicle will go on sale later this year, offering a new versatility to family and commercial travel.
Available in 5 to 9-seat configurations, with up to 4,900 litres of boot space on offer, the Peugeot Traveller is a collaborative effort between PSA Peugeot Citroen and Toyota Motor Europe (TME). The combispace vehicle has been designed to accommodate large families, while its side-slide doors also make it the perfect VIP shuttle vehicle for professional drivers.
Innovative and adaptable – the Peugeot Traveller offers a unique and streamlined driving experience.
Our stand at the Geneva Motor Show 2016 also hosted the latest Peugeot concept cars, displaying our cutting-edge technologies, ground-breaking innovations and class-leading environmental efficiency.
Peugeot Traveller i-Lab
The launch of the Peugeot Traveller i-Lab marks Peugeot’s entry into the business customer transportation, with this VIP shuttle designed to carry up to four passengers in ultimate comfort.
Designed with connectivity and comfort in mind, the four rear passenger seats are arranged facing each other around a 32” giant tablet. The tablet, supported by an archi pivot, can display as one or four screens, depending on the number of users.
Visitors to the Geneva Motor Show got to experience the i-Lab’s comfort and innovation first hand, with integrated technology created in collaboration with Samsung.
Peugeot FRACTAL
First unveiled in 2015, the Peugeot FRACTAL concept car made its way to the Geneva car show in March 2016.
This electric urban coupe features the latest in innovative technology, including the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®, along with an immersive sound system and tablet-driven communications.
